Hi,

As of a recent Mac OS system update, GPGTools is no longer compatible with Apple Mail under Snow Leopard. I have installed the latest version of GPGTools (20120318) but I still get an error when I start Mail that GPGTools is incompatible and has been disabled.

If this is not going to be fixed (understandable as Snow Leopard is old), the download page should probably be modified to let people know that only Lion is supported.

    Hey Ian,

here's the fix for 10.6.8. Sorry for a currently little messy site. This will be fixed soon.

Thanks very much! It seems to work. One thing to note: when copying the plugin into /Library/Mail/Bundles, I needed to use "cp -a" rather than "cp -r" to preserve permissions, otherwise the plugin was disabled again when I launched Mail.

    Hey Ian,

this will be fixed once we have the new GPGMail build integrated into our GPGTools Installer. This is something we are still working on. Thanks for your feedback.

    All the best,
    steve
