feature request (web)
hi, great software, thanks.
i would find it incredibly useful if the key manager had the ability to store a user-editable comment/description field tied to each key. i don't mean the comment field that is an actual part of a key, as defined when it is created, but instead something that i can edit for all the (other people's) keys in my list. for example i could add someone's message board username so it is easier to identify their key when it is not obvious from the email address. i know this data couldn't be integrated into the keys themselves, but the key manager could keep track of it. if it also showed up in the box that appears when selecting a recipient's key in other apps that would be a huge bonus, but even just in the key manager would be a great start.
