Hi,
is there a way to let Mail remember my passphrase (once inserted) while it is open, but force it to ask passphrase again if i close and reopen the app?
I mean, I don't care about how much time it remember my passphrase, but I would like Mail to remember it once inserted and to forget it when I close the app.
Thank you!

    Hi, alterego.

There is no such feature, since it is not Mail.app which is remembering passphrases, but instead the gpg-agent daemon.

You can only control the length of time, and it is by using the fields demonstrated below in ~/.gnupg/gpg-agent.conf to specify times in seconds:

    default-cache-ttl 600
    max-cache-ttl 7200

default-cache-ttl controls how long a passphrase is remembered each time it is used. And each time it is used the clock is reset, so the total time remembered can be longer than this, up to the length specified by max-cache-ttl.
