gpg sometimes fails...

Hi. I am a relative newcomer to GPGTools. A problem has been cropping up regularly and I was wondering if there was a way of fixing it.

I get a file that's encoded with my key from a vendor. Sometimes everything works well -- when I try to decode, a pop-up window asks for my passphrase, which I type in, and the file is decoded properly. Sometimes, though, the pop-up window doesn't appear and I get an error message. I'm running Mac OS X Lion and use the command line, with command "gpg file.gpg." If I restart the computer, everything works again, but that's a hassle. I can see using ps that gpg-agent is running. Here's what the error looks like:

You need a passphrase to unlock the secret key for
user: "User "
2048-bit RSA key, ID XXXXXXXX, created 2012-07-11 (main key ID YYYYYYYY)

gpg: problem with the agent: End of file
gpg: encrypted with 2048-bit RSA key, ID XXXXXXXX, created 2012-07-11

  "User <email>"

gpg: public key decryption failed: Operation cancelled
gpg: decryption failed: No secret key

    Hi lotto,

please try to install the nightly of GPGTools from https://nightly.gpgtools.org and let us know if that fixes your problem.

    Hope that helps!
