older Macbook support for Mac OSX, 10.4.111

I downloaded, did the install and got the mesg that the regular download would not work with my Mac.

What can I do?

Environment:

  • Software name and version: (e.g. GPGMail 2.0a4 or GPG Keychain Access 1.0b3)
  • OS X version: (e.g. 10.7.2)
  • GPGTools Installer date:

What steps will reproduce the problem? Please be as specific as possible.

    Hey Jules,

    10.4 is a really old OS. Any chance you can update to 10.6? GPGMail for 10.4 is not and has not been under development for a long time. I'd highly suggest to update your OS.

    If you can't do that, you can still use GPGMail for 10.4. Find that here https://www.gpgtools.org/gpgmail/index.html under "Get old releases". Next you need MacGPG2. Please install the latest MacGPG2 nightly from here: https://nightly.gpgtools.org

    Please see if that helps. Sorry, we don't really give support for old versions since those don't receive any patches.
