Cant create key
Hmm, so I revoked my key and now cant create a new one. I get this error:
"-[ActionController gpgController:progressed:total:]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x10190bcc0"
I installed the nightly latest build (21-Mar-2012 08:52) and still get the same error. I revoked and disabled my old key pair, its turned light grey. Do I need to delete it first before generating a new key?
I'm on 10.7.4 Lion btw.

Thanks for the report.
We'll have a look at it.

There's a much more current version of GPGKeychainAccess available on nightly now.
Could you please install that and check if your error persists?

Same issue with this error:
-[ActionController gpgController:progressed:total:]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x100356bf0
Do I need to delete my old revoked key?
Support Staff 4 Posted by Luke Le on 17 Aug, 2012 12:22 PM
No, that's not necessary.
Hmm... strange the issue still persists. I'll pass it along to the GPG Keychain Access dev.

Bill, we had an issue with key creation. That was fixed, and that's why we're a bit puzzled that again there seems to be (another?) issues with key creation.
In GPG Keychain Access then About, what version do you see?

GPG Keychain Access
Version 1.0b8 (110562 (b8))
I am on a:
iMac, 27-inch, Mid 2011
3.4 GHz Intel Core i7
Mac OS X Lion 10.7.4 (11E53)

Bill, we've updated the code. Please try again the latest nightly from here: https://nightly.gpgtools.org and let us know if it does fix your problem this time. (It should) ;)

Well, I can create a key now. But it wont send the encrypted email for some reason, says:
"Cannot send message using the server xxxxxxx" "Sending the message content to the server failed."

Could you please check what version of GPGMail you're using?
You can see that in Mail.app -> Preferences -> GPGMail
Also, please check the Console.app for any errors related gpg

GPGMail: 2.0a31
Build: 107103
I cant send any mail out of that account now weather its encrypted or not. Worked fine before.
Here's what the console says when I try and send an email:
*8/19/12 8:11:29.443 AM Mail: [DEBUG] [STDERR]: >>
8/19/12 8:11:29.444 AM Mail: [DEBUG] [STATUS]: >>
8/19/12 8:13:18.813 AM Mail: Property list invalid for format: 100 (property lists cannot contain objects of type 'CFType')
8/19/12 8:13:18.813 AM Mail: error serializing metadata dictionary: (null)*
As a test I turned off auto spell check, but it still gave the same error.

Is there any chance that the SMTP server you configured is no longer working?
It sounds like that to me.
But best, try to uninstall GPGMail to know for sure.
It should be located in either /Library/Mail/Bundles or ~/Library/Mail/Bundles
You can remove it or simple move it somewhere else.
Please let us know if that worked.

Seems to have worked it self out. I called my host and they gigered something. So, as of now seems to be ok...
Thanks!

Well, its back. I am going to uninstall GPGtools tonight and I'll post results...
Support Staff 15 Posted by Luke Le on 20 Aug, 2012 03:52 PM
I still doubt this is related to GPGTools. Sounds more like a problem with the outgoing server itself as it was once already.

Looks like you are right about the host. Seems to be working now. The timing was mighty coincidental!
Support Staff 17 Posted by Steve on 21 Aug, 2012 07:28 AM
Bill, can I close this? Is everything working now?
18 Posted by Bill on 21 Aug, 2012 01:31 PM
Actually no, its not working again now!?! But yes, you can close this. I dont think its GPGTools. I'll report back if I find out it has anything to do with this installation..
Thanks
