I can't decode mails from a friend. His mails look like this:

// some headers

From: [email blocked]

References: <[email blocked]>
X-Mailer: Mew version 6.3 on Emacs 23.3 / Mule 6.0 (HANACHIRUSATO)
MIME-version: 1.0
Content-type: Multipart/Encrypted; protocol="application/pgp-encrypted";
Content-transfer-encoding: 7bit

Content-Type: application/pgp-encrypted
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

Version: 1

Content-Type: Application/Octet-Stream
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

Version: GnuPG v1.4.11 (GNU/Linux) comes the GPG data...

In, they are displayed as an email with two attachments. But: still says: "Security: Encrypted". So what's going on here?
