step by step instruction for mac

  • Software name and version: GPG Keychain Access 1.0b7)
  • OS X version: ( 10.7.4 )
  • GPGTools Installer date: 3/08/2012

HI
I have installed GPG but i cant get it to work , i must be doing something worng ?
Does anyone have a step by step guide ?
I got my keys but i couldnt work out ,how to encryption anything and now my passphrase wont work .
I must be doing SOMETHING VERY WORNG !
can anyone help with a COMPLETE GUIDE ? STEP BY STEP ? FOR MAC 10.7.4
I have watched the 3min video and read the first steps , BUT I NEED MORE HELP THAN THAT so if anyone can help i would be very thankful

    Hey Jan,
    ok, let's have a look what's going wrong with your setup. You've read the first-steps guide. That's the best starting point. You've setup your keys.

    Now we need a detailed description of what is going wrong at what step at the encryption process.

    The more details you can provide the better. Should any of those infos contains sensitive data, you can switch this discussion to private, so it won't be public any longer.

    You could provide e.g. a screenshot of GPG Keychain Access with your sec key. Then try composing a new mail (which version of mail.app are you using). Show us a screenshot of that as well.

    Go to mail > settings > GPGMail (which version do you see?)
