MAC Mail client version 5.2

OS X version: (e.g. 10.7.4)

GPGTools Installer date: March 18 2012

What steps will reproduce the problem? Please be as
specific as possible.

Primary problem is that I cannot encrypt outgoing emails to the
two people I have keys for. When I sent an email to myself with my
key that works just fine. I can select the lock on the top right of
the mail screen. If I add an email of a person that I have the key
for and who is listed in the keychain access screen, the lock
becomes gray and I cannot encrypt the email. My signature is sent
in the emails when I sent the unencrypted emails however. I have
been able to encrypt files and the recipients who have my key are
able to encrypt and view the files.

Second problem is more of an annoyance. When I send an email
with my signature attached the dialog comes up that asks for my key
password. is this the proper behavior? If so, it would be good to
be able to add this to my keychain so that I did not have to
re-enter it for outgoing emails.

What do you expect to see? What do you see
instead?

I want to be able to encrypt emails when sending to someone who
I am corresponding with and who I give my public key.

Instead the emails are not encrypt able because the key lock is
grayed out.

Provide any additional information, link a screenshot
and debug output if possible.

please install the nightly version of GPGMail from http://nightly.gpgtools.org
This should fix all your problems.
Also, it's possible to store the password in your keychain and the
option for it is indeed shown in the password dialog.
If it's not, please let us know.

Hope that helps.

Luke Letag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/174285182012-08-24T16:54:14Z2012-08-24T16:54:14ZProblem encrypting email in MAX mail version 5.2 on OSX 10.7.4

No further user feedback. Closing.
