Cannot see public keys I have imported in the list when I try to encrypt...

Environment:

  • Software name and version: (e.g. GPGMail 2.0a4 or GPG Keychain Access 1.0b3) GPG Keychain Access from today dl
  • OS X version: (e.g. 10.7.2) snow leopard
  • GPGTools Installer date: today

What steps will reproduce the problem? Please be as specific as possible.

  1. ...import a key, it shows up in the list
  2. ...I write a message in text edit and select services<encrypt
  3. ...not in the list

What do you expect to see? What do you see instead?

  • I want to ...encrypt using the new public key
  • Instead ...

Provide any additional information, link a screenshot and debug output if possible.

  • Screenshot: see attachment
  • Debug output from /Applications/Utilities/Console.app: ...

    Hi sean, there's a new nightly version of GPG Keychain Access. Could you please run the latest nightly GPGTools Installer from here: http://nightly.gpgtools.org/ and see if the problem persists.

    Which OS X are you using? You write Snow Leopard. Any chance you can update to Lion?

    Also could you please attach a screenshot showing the pub key in GPG Keychain Access and the missing key in the GPGServices pop-up when trying to encrypt text.

    If you are uncomfortable with that info being public, you can set this discussion to private, so only you, the core-team and the company hosting this service platform are able to view the content.
