Environment:

  • Software name and version: (e.g. GPGMail 2.0a4 or GPG Keychain Access 1.0b3) GPG Tools 2012.03.18

  • OS X version: (e.g. 10.7.2) Lion

  • GPGTools Installer date: 2012/07/15

What steps will reproduce the problem? Please be as specific as possible.

  1. import friend public key to keychain. Sign his key as ultimate.
  2. try to encrypt mail to send friend

What do you expect to see? What do you see instead? I expected to be able to send him encrypted mail, but I can not. He can send me encrypted mail though

  • I want to encrypt mail
  • Instead all I can do is sign my mails

I can also send encrypted mails to myself and to another person that automatically went into my keychain. But I can not send encrypted mails to some of my friends that are in the keychain. I can't understand the differences......

    Hi Humberto,

please install the nightly version of GPGMail from http://nightly.gpgtools.org to see if the fixes your problem.

If it doesn't please export and attach one of your friends's public key.

    Hope that helps.
