thanks for the additional info.</p>
<p>Ok, I'm not sure where the issue is. Could you please test
this:</p>
<ul>
<li>close mail.app</li>
<li>open GPG Keychain Access</li>
<li>cmd + F search for steve AT gpgtools.org (make that an actual
mail address first)</li>
<li>import the RSA key</li>
<li>open mail.app</li>
<li>send me a test mail and see if that works</li>
</ul>
<p>If it does not work, please send a screenshot of your GPG
Keychain Access so we can see if it has both your and my key.</p>
<p>Cheers and all the best,<br>

<p>great both your messages arrived encrypted and signed. Good job
and looks like your setup is working just fine.</p>
<p>Alain: "1) i try to import a picture to my key and i can do
that"</p>
<p>No problem. Open GPG Keychain Access, then double click your
key. Up comes "Key Inspector". Hit the "+" on the bottom to add a
picture. (see attached screenshot)</p>
<p>Alain: "2) when i export my private and secret key to a
directory it seems my private key is not protected am i wrong?"</p>
<p>You should only export your private key to make a backup of it.
The safety of that backup depends on how you deal with it. Leaving
it on a USB-stick openly on your desk would be rather insecure.
Putting it in your safe bank deposit might be saver. Putting it in
a safe at a friends house might be save. You get the idea... The
key itself is not encrypted. But it's not usable without also
knowing the according passphrase.</p>
<p>Alain: "3) i had some problem to export and import key to
serveurs.<br>
(pgp.uni-mainz.de works very well)"</p>
<p>If you experience problems with key servers please take the time
and sign up with a free github account. You then will be able to
edit and update the key server wiki accordingly. This is very
helpful to many users as well as our dev team, because only then we
know which servers are reliable and will change default lists for
future releases. <a href=

<p>And now enjoy your working setup of GPGTools :)<br>
steve</p>
<p>Last thing:</p>
