I am new to the whole process and I am having trouble importing a key. I know the users public key (the random letters and numbers) but I can not get it to open in gpgtools. When I use pages or textedit it says error code=0.

    Hey Chris,

could you elaborate a bit more on what you are trying to do? You want to import a friends key into GPG Keychain Access?

Did you try (if your friend has his key on the key servers):

    • open GPG Keychain Access
    • cmd + F
    • enter friends mail address
    • search, select and import

Also, what version of which tool are you using?

Could you please visit http://nightly.gpgtools.org/ and download the latest GPGTools_Installer-trunk.dmg file.

Run that on your system and see if the problem persists.

    All the best,
