Issues with key server communication
I cannot get any communication with key server to work. I set my key server (it was blank) to keyserver.pgp.com.

Hi,
Running OS X 10.6.8 and GPG 1.0b7
I was getting "Refreshing key failed" etc errors. Anything I tried to do with a server resulted in error 'Code = 0'. Weirdly, It started working after a restart.
I think you should disable the keyserver commands from the menu until a keyserver is entered by the user, or invoke an alert telling the user that he needs to enter a keyserver address (or maybe choose from list?). Also make the options in the menu's conditional (ie. if nothing is selected, some options are inactive)
Thanks for a great mac port! Bitcoin donation sent!

Hey Niko,
thanks for your feedback and the bitcoin donation! It's appreciated and helps us further developing the GPGTools.
We had other reports about the Code = 0 error lately.
I'd be curious to see if the same issue occurs if you use the latest nightly version. Could you visit http://nightly.gpgtools.org/ and download the latest GPGTools_Installer-trunk.dmg file?
Run that on your system and see if the problem persists.
Also thanks for the suggestions. Actually the key server field should NOT be empty by default. If it is, we need to fix that.
All the best,
steve
