Unable to fix incompatible bundle version
The gpgtools installer fails to install the correct version of
the GPGmail bundle on a standalone Mac with OSX 10.6.8.
This has been discussed in the developer list here
http://lists.gpgtools.org/mailman/private/gpgtools-devel/2012-April...
but not yet resolved.
Lukas pointed out that the script check_for_osver.sh is failing for
some unknown reason (it returns true for 10.7 instead 10.6). He
gave me some test version of the script, which did not gave enough
insight to insulate the problem.
I'm would like to fix this until weekend, if someone could help
building the environment to package it here (on 10.6.u8).
I did just enother try with nightly gpgtools installer. Log attached.
Axel

From my 1st attachment:
Installer[6187]: Installieren: "GPGTools GPGMail (Snow Leopard)"
This means, it has detected the correct OS version.
And indeed: IT WORKS!
What I have done today (before my post):
Maybe these could be new README items...
Thanks, Axel

Hi Alex,
I actually always suspected the root user to be the issue nr. 1.
Unfortunately it doesn't yet explain why it fails to detect the OS version using the root user.

I'd rather find the real issue

Luke, can you create a ticket for this?
