adding an "about us" link on http://www.gpgtools.org/
This is going to sound a little strange, but bear with me.
I wrote this about your work for TechRepublic: http://www.techrepublic.com/blog/datacenter/cloud-security-tool-bas... . I used GPGTools as the basis of the explanation. It worked flawlessly! I wanted to find the devs to run the post past you before I submitted it, in case I'd made some blatantly stupid assumptions (It's a bit late now, it's published).
I was poking around the main site for some kind of "about us" or "who we are" thing but couldn't find anything. I only thought of searching twitter about half an hour ago, which led me here.
Do you think it's worth adding more obvious pointers from the main site to here, to make life easier for idiots like me?
Thanks for your hard work. I appreciate it. I added a thanks on twitter too, just in case.

Hey Nick,
thanks for your feedback. Hm, we try to be pretty transparent about our communication channels and can be reached rather easily. On the main page we have the "Contact" category on the top right side. That page lists all contact options. I think that should be sufficient. Or how'd you improve that structure? We try not to clutter the front page with too much info.
Very quickly read your article, sounds sane to me. ;)
Cheers,
steve

Many thanks for your swift reply.
I was looking for an email address, or at least a name. I wanted to post my MS Word doc before I sent it to my editor (that's the format they like). I have a slight distrust of web forms, and - anyway - I can't attach a doc.
I understand this is a bit of a weird case that I could have worked around.
Thanks for scanning the article. I'm relieved there are no blunders.
Again, thanks for your hard work. I think it really shows in the high quality of GPGtools.

Ah ok. Well, we usually also respond via Twitter and if you need to get in touch, you can also use this support platform. I hate webforms to be honest. So the main entry for the support platform is: http://support.gpgtools.org/ but offering a second choice doesn't hurt, so we also provide a webform.
Next time you want us to receive a document you could also open a new discussion on the support platform, set it to private if the document contains sensitive non-public information and then attach the document to the discussion.
Then only the core team will be able to view that information.
Thanks for covering the GPGTools in your article.
And feel free to drop us a line if you write about us in the future. It's hard to keep track of things happening on the net.
All the best :)
