Hi, just upgraded to the newest release version (20120318) Under the old version (20110711) i could save a plain text utf encoded file in text edit. then i could right click on the file and select to encrypt it. When i would open the output file in text edit it would say 'Begin PGP Message...' etc. But now when i open it, its just gobbly gook.

I need to be able to copy an past the raw encrypted message and send it like that, not as a gpg file. What do i do?

TIA,
Dippy

There is some transition where this feature is concerned, and it vanished in the 20120318 version. For now, you can follow the steps below to get the functionality back:

    (See this discussion: http://support.gpgtools.org/discussions/everything/1194-armorascii-...)

    1) upgrade to the latest GPGServices build from http://nightly.gpgtools.org/GPGServices-trunk.dmg

    2) In Terminal.app, run the following to set a preference to use ASCII encryption (works for single-files only):

$ defaults write org.gpgtools.gpgservices UseASCIIOutput -bool YES
