I am trying to just encrypt text in text edit. I have imported a public key, but when I highlight the text in text edit, it doesn't list any of my imported public keys as recipients. It only lists my private key. Please help

    Hey Jeff,

    Hey ,

sorry to hear you are having trouble using GPGTools. Let's try some things to pin down where this problem is coming from.

Could you please visit http://nightly.gpgtools.org/ and download the latest GPGTools_Installer-trunk.dmg file.

Run that on your system and see if the problem persists. Should that be the case, please please fill the following form (via copy & paste) and we'll look at the details to get you fixed. http://support.gpgtools.org/kb/faq/found-an-issue

    All the best,

    Hi Steve,

I have encountered the same problem, that Jeff had and - in line with your suggestions - have installed the nightly build, which has resolved the problem.

    Thanks for your help!

    Best,
    Tamas.

Tamas: thanks so much for chiming in and letting us know.

I'm assuming this problem is solved in the latest nightly.

@Jeff should this issue persist for you please re-open this discussion or open a new one so we can get you fixed.

    All the best,
    steve
