two blocks of encryption
Hello,
I am running the newest version of GPGTools on MAC. recently when I
attempt to encrypt a message which is usually done in Textedit the
encrypted block shows up twice and each block when decrypted has
the original text shown twice. I am wondering what could be causing
the error and how I may fix it. Please let me know.

Step two is after i highlight the message right-click and encrypt it. step 3 takes the top block of encrypt and right-click and decrypts it.

Same thing happens to me in TextEdit. When I try in Aquamacs it works as expected.
OS X 10.6.8
Textedit 1.6 (264)
Installed from GPGTools-20120318.dmg

Looks like it's been fixed but not in a release yet, see this ticket.

Hi John,
flydanofly is right, it was fixed and can be tested by installing the nightly build of GPGServices.
The build is available at http://nightly.gpgtools.org/GPGServices-trunk.dmg.
Let us know if it works!
