Network homes
I have a number of users that use network homes. GPG tools has trouble both installing and running when used in this scenario.
We get lots of errors relating to permissions that cannot be
changed and other miscellaneous errors.
This worked fine in an older version, with 10.4.
We are now running 10.6.8 with the current version.
Update:
I have been able to get this working by loading the contents on the
network users' .gnupg folders into a local users folder. Then
running the installer, which presumably upgrades the contents of
this folder and the .conf file. I then copy the contents back to
the network user' profile.
I actually keep the network users' .gnupg folder in /Users/Shared/username/.gnupg and symlink it back to their network home. Other errors occurred if this step was not completed.

Thank you for your feedback.
We never provided a version for 10.4.
We worked a bit to support installations in such an environment but since we don't have a testbed to verify that everything works, it's hard to achieve this goal. Maybe you could help us and have a look at the according scripts at https://github.com/GPGTools/GPGTools_Core/tree/master/scripts and provide patches?

Just tested the latest installer (version 2011.12.24) on a machine (10.6) with networked homes and it seems to work. Could you verify that this version works for you too?

No further user feedback. Issue should be solved in latest installer. Closing.
