issue with keyserver
Hi,
I have been using and trying to learn gpg for hours now. I downloaded and installed gpgtools, and created a private key for myself. However, it seems that anything that requires the program to connect to the key server does not work, be it updating, sending, searching, etc. I always get the error "Refresh keys failed! Code = 0"
I have sent myself an email that was encrypted ( i think), but I can't figure out how to send encrypted messages to people without sending them an email from the mac mail app. Also, I can't figure out how to create a public key; it seems like I need to be able to connect to the key server to do so, which I can't do. I've tried all the servers in the wiki, none work. So, I guess my issues are twofold
1- connection to keyserver not working, regardless of particular
server
and
2- i cant figure out how to send someone an encrypted message
without emailing them from the email account i have hooked up to
mail, or any acct for that matter.
Any idea? Thanks!

Hey Prince,
this sounds very familiar to a bug we squashed just recently. Could you please try the latest nightly GPGTools Installer from http://nightly.gpgtools.org/and let us know if this solves the key server issues.
All the best,
steve

Huh? First, sorry for slow response times.
Could you please again try the latest nightly (which has received some more tweaks and fixes in the meantime).
What you wrote in your first message is clearly a bug and should be resolved. So let us know if the issue is still persistent in the latest nightly.
Cheers,
steve

Prince? Did you try the latest nighty from http://nightly.gpgtools.org/ and run the latest GPGTools_Installer-trunk.dmg file?
