Invalid Crypto Engine (web)
I removed GPG from my system. Now I get an invalid crypto engine error message every time I open my mail program. How do I get rid of this?
Thanks,
Jim Carruth

Hi there,
how did you remove GPG? Could you please download the GPGTools Installer, mount the dmg and run the uninstaller.
Then see if you still get the error msg when you open Mail.app.
Hope this helps, cheerios,
steve

Steve,
I removed it from the /usr/local/ folder. Why would I want to reinstall it again? I am trying to get rid of it. Now I just need to get rid of the message, so obviously I didn't get rid of everything. Where does that message come from, and where is it stored on my computer? That's what I need to know in order to get rid of the error message. Can you help me with that?
Thanks,
Jim

You should remove GPGMail from ~/Library/Mail/Bundles or /Library/Mail/Bundles

Oh, just extracted the uninstaller from our GPGTools Installer. Tiny download to remove everything: http://gpgtools.org/uninstaller - does this work for you?
