Ups, something went wrong. GPG was found on your system but there seems to be a problem with the config file. Please contact the GPGTools team http://www.gpgtools.org/about.html.

What is the solution?

Could you check to see if your Console.app shows some error messages related to the installation?
Also, could you please describe the steps which lead to this message.

    Thanks

Hmm... could you run "gpg2 --gpgconf-test" in your Terminal.app and post the output?

    if correct

Last login: Wed Nov 30 15:52:50 on console
    csc23:~ michelmichaelides UCL$ gpg2 --gpgconf-test
gpg: WARNING: unsafe ownership on configuration file
    `/Users/michelmichaelides UCL/.gnupg/gpg.conf'

We're getting closer and you perfectly ran this command in the Terminal.app, thanks!

Could you also please run one other:

    gpg2 --list-config

    and post the output. Thanks

    Hi Michel,

could you please try this workflow:

    Download and open https://github.com/downloads/GPGTools/GPGTools/GPGTools-20111214.dmg

    Run the uninstaller

    Run the installer

    Does this solve your problem,
    steve
