dead
Hi,
I had GPGtools installed, and working well, sending and receiving
signatures, encrypting etc... Then today my MBP required a cold
reboot. After that, I had a few trouble and needed cleaning up.
Now GPGtools keytool does not show ANY signature, not even GPGtool signature. I cannot generate a new signature either, NOTHING happens. Blank frame, NADA.
I have installed, deinstalled, reinstalled, installed "nightly" (whatever that may be), completed deinstalled, completely rererereinstalled, and still.....NOTHING at all happens when it ask to create a signature. I had not saved it, because I had thought it would sit on the server, and I could anytime get it from there again. Apparently no. I had used the sksblabla server, as the gnu server did not respond.
If you can help, please, I would appreciate. I am without a paddle, and consider calling it a bad experience, and warning my friends of the looming headaches.
Awaiting any help you can give me.
Regards,
Hans

Could you try fix your file system permissions by using Onyx or Apple Disk Utility? That might help...

Hi again,
When I send myself an email, it says SIGNED, and gives me the details when I click on it.
Cheers,
Hans

Hi,
Did it. Also did it in disk utility which worked fine.
Now I wonder if you get my signature. I have it set to OpenPGP (not S/MIME).
Cheers,
Hans

To test please send a signed (and optionally encrypted) mail to gpgtools-org (at) lists.gpgtools.org.
Best regards, Alex
