Hi,

I just installed GPGTools and restarted mail, I created a Key pair (and even uploaded the public key). But when I create a new Mail, nothing in the MacOs Mail client refers to GPG, there is especially no lock-button to encrypt emails.

Is there anything I might need to enable? I am using Mojave 10.14.6 which should be supported.

Expected
I would expect a lock-button to encrypt emails

Additional info
Thank you and regards

    Hi Daniel,

welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.

Have you tried what Sebastian (thanks for helping out here!) suggested?

Are you seeing GPG Mail in Mail > Preferences?

    All the best,
    Steve

    Hi,

yes I just tried it and it worked. Very easy-to-use integration of PGP. I already purchased a license.

Now I am waiting for the activation window to show again :)

    Thanks a lot!

    Regards

Great news - and thanks so much for your support!

GPG Suite 2019.2 is very close to being complete and ready for public release and here is Release Candidate 2 of GPG Suite 2019.2 including GPG Mail 4 which adds macOS 10.15 compatibility.

Once GPG Suite 2019.2 is publicly released, you will automatically be notified. Just make sure that update checks are enabled in System Preferences › GPG Suite.

We are very sorry that this release took longer than we had anticipated.

WIth the purchase you just did, you automatically qualify for a free upgrade to GPG Mail 4, so feel free to jump to GPG Mail 4 and be ready for 10.15 if you want.

Und einen schönen Abend dir noch :)
    Steve

    Hello Steve,

    Vielen Dank!

I am not always on the very latest version bevor it is considered stable so that’s perfectly fine to me.

I double checked auto updates are enabled and how to use the beta releases.
    Looks good!

    Have a good evening
