GPG Keychain: unable to communicate with server (using old sks key servers, switching to hagrid keys.openpgp.org solved the problem)

    Hi Dominic,

    welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.

    Can you share the key server address you are using from GPG Keychain > Preferences > Key Server

    Are you using any Firewall software on your mac or is your company behind a firewall?

    Thanks for your fast reply!

    It was a good hint ... I was still using this keyserver: hkps://hkps.pool.sks-keyservers.net

    Now I switched to hkps://keys.openpgp.org and it all works fine right now.
