GPG Mail: Problem installing PGPMail bundle into Mail
Installing GPG_Suite caused Mail to fail to show any mailboxes and all mailbox options except those to create new ones were greyed out. Uninstalling GPG_Suite left Mail crippled as above. Removing /Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist restored the mailboxes. Reinstallation of GPG_Suite re-crippled Mail until com.apple.mail.plist deleted. Attempt to activate GPGMailLoader.mailbundle through Mail preferences failed due to missing “Manage Plug-ins” button. Attempt to restore the button with “sudo defaults write "/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail" EnableBundles 1” crippled Mail as above until com.apple.mail.plist deleted.
Expected
I recall that Mail previously allowed GPGMail to install in Mojave, but the current version of Mail appears engineered to forbid Plug-ins. Is this a known problem, and is there any solution?

Hi Eric,
we are very sorry for your bad experience with GPG Suite.
We believe that this happens due to a bug in macOS Mail on Mojave. We have filed the bug with Apple but it is unclear how long it will take them to resolve the issue.
Following are the steps that should fix this problem:
sudo rm -rf ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail/Data/DataVaults
Please let us know if that worked.
