In the meantime and as a potential workaround for the time being, please see this KB-article on how to manage passwords for your keys.

Best,
What happens is that I usually start replying to some mail that I found in a folder. While typing the reply, Mail saves a draft, GPGMail encrypts it, and then Mail finds that draft as a "thread" (conversation) related message, and attempts to display it in its conversation view.

It looks like that display operation is what causes another request to GPGMail to immediately decrypt the message again. If I click in the folder list and shift the focus to some other mail thread, the passphrase popups disappear!

Is this approximately the same issue as in your internal ticket?

Dimitry Andrictag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/423648452017-04-28T09:07:28Z2017-04-28T09:07:28ZWhen composing email, passphrase dialogs continuously pop up

Yeah, this may be related. The first thing to address is the draft behavior but showing replies in threaded view plays into this as well.

We'll let you know once we have news regarding this ticket.

Steve
