I got a warning message, which provided the following:

"An unknown error occurred while decrypting this attachment.

GPG error message:

gpg: signal Hangup caught ... exiting

Please contact us, including the GPG error message, at"

Describe your problem. Add as much detail as possible.

I am not sure there is a problem although an attached pdf may have gone missing. I had sent an encrypted message in applemail to someone who had then forwarded it on to others including me.

    Hi ,David

welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.

Could you restart your mac and see if you are then still running into this problem?

Is the issue restricted to a single email? Are you able to reproduce the problem by sending another test message with a PDF attachment to yourself and then forward the received message to yourself again to simulate the case you are describing, which may have lead to the problem.
