hi,

I'm using GPG on the Mac. I just want to know, does it encrypt attachments I include in my emails?

how can I do that if not?

    Hi Dave,

welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.

You are most likely referring to GPGMail, the OpenPGP plugin for Mail.app. Any attachment you send in an encrypted mail will also be encrypted.

If you want to encrypt files outside of an encrypted email you can use GPGServices for that.

The following two Knowledge Base articles explain how GPGServices is used:

    • KB explaining how to encrypt and sign text or files
    • KB explaining decryption and verification

    All the best,
    steve
