Which of our tools is giving you problems?

Can you please run your website through tools like tota11y, and then fix the issues that it raises?

Attach a screenshot of the version info for all installed components (how to: https://gpgtools.tenderapp.com/kb/faq/where-can-i-find-version-info...):

Describe your problem. Add as much detail as possible.

It is very difficult for me to read anything on your webpages, due to the color combinations and low contrast you've chosen.

What did you expect instead

I expected a website that was actually readable.

Describe steps leading to the problem.

Open a web browser, point it at https://gpgtools.org/. Find that you cannot read the website, due to the problems mentioned above.

Are you using any other Mail.app plugins?

Yes, but not relevant.

I fully support Brad. Your pages are hard to read due to colour combinations and contrast. Even with accessibility settings it is hard to make it readable if your eyes are not too good.
I am not American, and I do not consider myself to be disabled.
The ADA Brad refers to stands for Americans with Disabilities Act. This contains quite good guidelines to make your pages beter readable.

Otherwise great work you are doing. Thanks

I'd certainly prefer the focus to be on the core application with offers from this community to help fund a better website. Priorities people. You can only do all the things with infinite time and infinite money!

I agree with Brad. I'm not disabled, but I don't think we should ignore access issues for those who are. Check out Brad's recommendation for tota11y, http://khan.github.io/tota11y), or wave.webaim, or any number of others.

This website is an important resource for people trying to implement encryption, which is already hard/confusing enough.

thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We certainly agree that there's a lot of space for improvement on the usability of our website and we hope refresh it in the coming months, paying more attention to accessibility.

In the meantime we've created a bug ticket for it. This discussion will be re-opened once the ticket status changes and you'll be informed of the ticket change.

Closing this discussion. Feel free to open a new one anytime, should you have questions or run into problems.
