welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.

I am not sure I fully understand the question. Are you trying to create a new key? That should be possible in GPG Keychain.

Had you previously created a secret key already?

Best,

the following is a website which generates pgp keys. when ive wanted to
decrypt a message ive had to add my private key (my private key is on the
website) and password along with the encrypted message to gain access to
the website. websites like igolder will show you what i mean, when you make
a public key you also get your own private key.

i hope this helps. not tyrna be disrespectful, i just dont know whats
confusing im asking. how do i get the private key when i make a public one
with your software?

Waseemtag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/480280762020-01-26T11:03:36Z2020-01-26T11:03:36Zgoddamn

You write "when I make a public one (key) with your software".

Whenever you create a new key with GPG Keychain it will always be a secret + public key.

This KB explains how to generate a key with GPG Keychain: https://gpgtools.tenderapp.com/kb/how-to/first-steps-where-do-i-sta...

Stevetag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/480280762020-01-28T16:26:15Z2020-01-28T16:26:15Zgoddamn

Note: You should never provide your private key to others. This defeats the entire point of using PGP.

jcross
