GPG Tools Support domain insecure
Hi
I note that the site gpgtools.org is secure site (HTTPS), but not the
subdomain support.gpgtools.org is not (HTTP). Why is this and
should you not make the whole site secure?

Hi Pertinax,
we made that decision due to the limited availability of domains we could cover with the cert we bought. Currently the cert industry is an odd money printing machine and we didn't want to oil that broken system more than really neccessary.
This will all change in summer 2015 wenn the EFF and Mozilla (and akamai) will provide free certs to anybody - finally. I'm sure we'll then also deal with our support page.
Any download link we offer here in support should ideally go to a signed file.
Hope this explains the situation.
All the best,
steve
