Hello! Do you have any expectation on when GPG Suit based on GnuPG 2.1 can be available? Can we help (including- pay/donate) to make it happen faster? It's quite promising, don't you think? Thanks.

Regards,
Anton

    Hi Anton,

promising indeed. It has a lot of changes / improvements I myself was looking forward to. Also it's been in beta state for a very long time.

MacGPG 2.1 is not around the corner though. We are working on the next stabel GPG Suite release at the moment and that is our top priority. 2.1 will not make it into that release unfortunately.

But if you yourself want to hack on it, MacGPG2 is open source and you can work on it if you want.

We'll definetely look into 2.1 once the next stable release is out the door and things have stabilized about more around OSX 10.10.

We've a ticket for this problem:

    Hi _owl,

we have a first GPG Suite test build which integrates gpg 2.1. Here is the signature file for that release.

It would be great if you could test this build and let us know if run into any trouble. Please note, that downgrading to the current beta release will require additional steps in case new keys were created using this test build. Depending on the test results, gpg 2.1 may soon land in the beta branch.

    All the best,
    steve
