After upgrading to Beta 6 the sign and encrypt tools and buttons completely disappeared from Apple Mail, and therefore no email can be signed nor encrypted. Reinstallation didn't have any effect.

Any idea?

As everything is working fine here (same system, same update) I would recommend:

    1. uninstall GPGTools

    2. install beta6 again

    3. repair permissions on bootdrive

    4. restart

    5. test

    Tested and not working.

It is as if the Mail component did not install.

My partition is encrypted, however. Does that make any difference?

    Apparently now it works.

It needed another clean install and a reboot.

    Hey Steve,

sounds like some glitch happening during installation. If you manage to detect a reproducible pattern for this issue, we're happy to investigate.

Should this happen again, please create an Installer log as described here: https://gpgtools.tenderapp.com/kb/faq/how-can-i-generate-debugging-...

In that case please set this discussion to "Private" with the toggle button on the right.

Since things are working now, I'm closing this discussion. You can always re-open or create a new discussion.

    Enjoy your weekend!
