keeping gpg current

When I first signed up for gpgtools, I was receiving an "update" every day or two. The update was apparently a way to keep my account current. When I failed to take the time to install a new update I was promptly informed that my account had expired and I needed to reinstall the gpgtools. Since then however I have not received any of the daily "updates" and I now see that my account is no longer functional.

I guess I am a bit confused and I admit it may be my fault. It is not clear to me what to expect from the site and what I need to do to be able to use the site. Should I expect an "update" every day or two? Must I install them promptly in order to use the site? Will use of gpgtools require attention daily or every few days in order for me to use the site? Do you have a link to a page that explains what is required of a potential user? Thanks, Sam
