gpgtools 2015.02-b5-1161 update error
Hi,
the auto updater fails and this is what happens when I try to
update gpgtools via brew:
---snip--- [20150212,16:30:22]aeon:~[4529]$ brew cask install
gpgtools ==> Downloading https://releases.gpgtools.org/GPG_Suite-2015.02-b5-1161.dmg
==> Running installer for gpgtools; your password may be

options such as --appdir are ignored. Password:

Upgrading at base path / ==> installer: The upgrade was
successful. mktemp: too few X's in template
‘org.gpgtools.log’
Unable to create the temp dir. Log only into
'/Users/ewenzel/Library/Logs/gpg-home-fixer.log'
gpgtools staged at
'/opt/homebrew-cask/Caskroom/gpgtools/2015.02-b5-1161' (14 files,

---snip---
mktemp fails and prints a good answer about what is not working...
Thanks for driving this important project!
cheers Erik

Hi Erik,
would you mind trying to install the dmg directly instead of using cask.
It might be necessary to adjust the cask, but since we're not the authors of that one, we currently don't know what could be wrong.
Thanks.

No, no. It's not the cask. Two lines above is the answer: "mktemp: too few X's in template". What else do you need? A installation initialized by your update mechanism gave me no error message.
I searched the cask for mktemp usage. There is non.
Thanks.

Hi Erik,
afaik we don't use mktemp so it might be in the installer or somewhere.
But since this can only be seen when installing using cask, I assumed it's related to that.

Might this be related to the problem you're seeing?
