libxpc.dylib Error

Hi

When opening GPG keychain and selecting import or export I get the following error :

24/01/2015 11:58:28.781 GPG Keychain[4354]: assertion failed: 14B25: libxpc.dylib + 97940 [9437C02E-A07B-38C8-91CB-299FAA63083D]: 0x89

I am using nightly builds -version below

Mac OS X: 10.10.1 (14B25)
MacGPG2: 2.0.26b2, 750b
GPG Keychain: 1.2b3 (2c1f5a8), 1009n
GPGServices: 1.10b2 (3a7aba6), 741n
GPGPreferences: 1.5b2 (7c4ebb5), 738n
GPGMail: 2.5b4, 802b

   Hi wingman,

   I can not reproduce this here. Does this always happen for you? What exact steps are you taking? Open console, open GPG Keychain, click import? Does that alone already trigger this error message?

   Hi Steve

   Yes it's 100% reproducible. I open GPG keychain- select import and the relevant error appears within the concole

   updated all components to the latest and I am still getting the error- Versions:

   Mac OS X: 10.10.1 (14B25)
   MacGPG2: 2.0.26b3 (3570865), 766n
   GPG Keychain: 1.2b3 (2c1f5a8), 1009n
   GPGServices: 1.10b2 (3a7aba6), 741n
   GPGPreferences: 1.5b2 (7c4ebb5), 738n
   GPGMail: 2.5b4 (05244f0+), 819n

   Also the error appears only the first time that someone launches GPG keychain

   Hey wingman,

   is there any special configuration going on on your system? xpc should not be used at all by GPG Keychain. GPGMail uses that. So it's really odd that GPG Keychain triggers this message for you. (just another data point: I'm still not able to reproduce this error message on my 10.10.1 system).

   is this simply an error message in Console.app or does it affect the functionality of GPG Keychain?

   I have installed the latest nightly build. It doesn't seem to be cosmetic only. I am getting the relevant error when trying to import

   In fact I was able to import but it took around 10-15 seconds to import the attach key (random PGP Key I've downloaded from the key server to validate the error)

    I am afraid same issue as as before it only happens the first time you open keychain

    we've created a ticket for this issue.
    Unfortunately we were not yet able to reproduce it.

    wingman, maybe this was related to the old libmacgpg as well?

    After cleaning the old file and using the latest releas 2015.08 did this ever re-appear?

    NOP. Running the latest version (and i have deleted the old file as well) but still getting the same error when trying to import for the very first time

    OK, closing again. We'll need to get in touch with apple. Since no functionality is harmed this is rather low priority. But yes, it's never nice to clutter the console.
