I received pin-entry errors when trying to send a signed email. Using Beta 4. No additional dialogues were open at the time. The computer had been asleep since the last time I'd sent.

Addendum: I tried reinstalling the Suite, but on every attempt got the notification that the Installer is damaged. Cancel or Eject were my only options. Clearly, I'm missing something, here.

Fixed by re-start. But this coincided with (was caused by? caused?) many strange behaviors in mail.app, including server timeout errors and / or port-refusals.

    HI James,

GPG Suite Beta 4 is signed with an updated key (which is why our homepage also explains a new key is required to verify the download).

It could be a mismatch between the new key not yet being first available and the Beta 4 Suite.

It seems you now have the new key on your system.

This glitch should not repeat itself since it was a once time change.

Did you run into any trouble after this?

    All the best,
    steve
