are you using Mail.app with GPGMail? Then all incoming encrypted
mail should automatically be decrypted.

So the first question is if you are indeed using mail.app. If
so, what happens once you select an encrypted mail which you have
received?

All the best,

I am using mail.app.

Previously when I selected an encrypted e-mail, it
decrypted.

No nothing happens automatically. If you send me an encrypted
e-mail I will see what happens at this moment.

are not decrypted.

Derek Ballingtag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/355906492014-12-23T11:48:34Z2014-12-23T11:48:34ZReceived encrypted emails no longer are decrypted automatically

Hey Mike and Derek,

could you both please install <a href=

and let me know how that behaves? What happens exactely when you
select an encrypted mail?

It should either be automatically be decrypted or pinentry
should show up and ask for your passphrase.

If nothing happens, please open console.app and see if it spits
out any GPG Suite / GPGMail / MacGPG related errors.

All the best,

We have to take a little more complicated route:

redownload GPG Suite beta 3

install

open GPGPreferences

activate the nightly channel for all tools except GPGMail and
check for updates there

Then retry. And: If still nothing happens (aka mails do not get
decrypted), please open console.app and see if it spits out any GPG
Suite / GPGMail / MacGPG related errors.

Regards,

No discernible change. This is what Console shows me for today
for gpg-home-fixer.log:

This is what I get for gpgmail-uuld-patcher.log:

For shutdown.gpg.agent.log:

For gpgmail-uuld-patcher.log

I hope this helps.

would it be possible to have the eml file sent to us for further
investigation? That would make it much easier to debug this
issue.
To export an email as eml, simply select it, press CMD + SHIFT + S
and as type select "Raw message" (or something with raw in the
name)

Best send it to team @ gpgtools.org

Luke Letag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/355906492014-12-29T14:01:33Z2014-12-29T14:01:33ZReceived encrypted emails no longer are decrypted automatically

Hi Mike,
