GPGMail 2.5b2 Build: 792b

Hey,
I am using GPGTools on Mac OS 10.10 with Apple Mail. Yesterday i changed my PGP-Passphrase and since then i cant send encrypted messages with Apple Mail/GPGMail. The actual error message can be found (edit: in comment 1). I am aware of the fact that it looks like the problem is caused by the mail provider, but i can still send encrypted mails with thunderbird over the same smtp-server.

I know that I am using a beta version and I dont expect it to be fixed soon, just wanted to let you know about that bug.

Best regards, Lasse

If you remember, please describe the steps leading up to the problem.

  1. Changing PGP-Passphrase
  2. Try to send encrypted mail with GPGMail
  3. Not working

    Hi Lasse,

this error message actually comes from Mail.app and not GPGMail. There seems to be a problem with your SMTP server settings (the server responsible for outgoing mail).

Could you double check the details for your SMTP server connected with the account in question.

Here's the SMTP settings you might need: https://help.riseup.net/de/email/settings/smtp

Re-Adding error message screenshot from Lasse in jpeg format.

Let me know how it goes,
