GPG Tools ask for password with newest beta — but password does not work
Hi,
to be able to upgrade to macOS High Sierra I‘ve updatet GPG Tools to the latest beta. After that I was asked for my password on every Mail when signing an eMail in Apple Mail. Unfortunately the password I have stored in 1Password and I am pretty sure is the right one does not work.
Do you have any ideas?
Thanks & cheers from Berlin
Stephan

Hi Stephan,
the pinentry requests you are seeing are happening due to the migration from MacGPG 2.0.x to 2.2.0.
Please read the following KB-article in it's entirety:
https://gpgtools.tenderapp.com/kb/faq/i-updated-to-gpg-suite-20171-...
and let me know if that brings you back to the expected state.
All the best,
steve
