Hello, I am using os x 10.10.5 and GPG Keychain Version 1.3.3b2.
I was writing a very long and important draft and left the file open, while installing boxcryptor.
The reason was, that I wanted to quickly setup a cloud-link with some private historic film, also encrypted.
As I was coming back to my still open draft, it was encrypted.
First I thought, that has to do with boxcryptor and uninstalled that program.
Restarted the system, wiped out RAM. But still the draft and all other drafts are encrypted.
I still holding my own GPG key, whereby the subkey is used with this draft.
I open GPG Keychain, select the key, but still the draft remains encrypted.
What can I do?

Are you using any other Mail.app plugins? no other plugins.

    Hi Irene,

welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.

Does updating to GPG Suite 2017.1 bring back your draft?

If not, you will have to manually decrypt the draft by dragging the encrypted.asc attachment to your desktop and from there decrypt using GPGServices:

The following two Knowledge Base articles explain how GPGServices is used:

    • KB explaining decryption and verification

Let me know if any of the above did the trick.

    All the best,
    steve
