I'm seeing that the Sierra Beta works for the most part, but when I install it, I don't see the lock and signed icon. The only change I see is that there is a PGP drop-down in the top right corner. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

    Hi demos100,

welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.

Are we looking at a new setup or was your OpenPGP setup working prior to the 10.12 update?

In case you are a first time user, please follow our Getting Started Tutorial.

Let me know if that was helpful or if you need further assistance after going through that KB.

Whenever you need assistance with GPG Suite, please create a new discussion. While it is common on other forums to join existing discussions with similar or identical problems, for the GPGTools support forum, this is not a good idea. Having many users in one discussion is likely to cause confusion, thus it's best to solve issues on a "per case" basis. That helps to keep the discussion straight forward and provide a fast solution to you and other users.

I have thus split your comment into a separate discussion.

    All the best,
    steve

    Steve,

Thank you for clarifying. I immediately regretted my post as I realized I hadn't enabled beta builds. It works now!

    I appreciate you responding.

    Thanks!

The transition will be improved as soon as the next beta is released. Then GPGMail will no longer become disabled after an update from a previous macOS version.

Glad, this is solved for you. I'm closing this discussion. Should you need further assistance or have questions you can re-open this discussion here or open a new one any time.

    Best, steve
