GPGMail: Encrypt and sign buttons not showing up in mail.app

No lock and sign buttons in apple mail app to be found, although gpgmail is installed properly and green light is on in mail app preferences .

Expected
Only possibility is to encrypt and sign message in a new window by selecting the text and right clicking on it, which is an understatement.

Additional info
Please inform me asap of any changes.

    welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.

    Is this a setup that has been working as expected in the past or are you in the process of setting this up for the first time?

    Have you already created a key? If you are a new user, please follow our Getting Started Tutorial.

    First time install, although I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice with the same resu;ts excepts I have an Amber app preferences.

    Rich, are you the original reporter or a different user? In the latter case, I'd split your comment into a separate discussion.
