"automatically download & install updates in the future" does not work

At the end of the upgrading process to beta 2, the dialog gives a checkbox saying "automatically download & install updates in the future". If I check the checkbox and click finish, the corresponding checkboxes in Mail preferences are still unchecked after restart of Mail.

   Hi Hinnert,

   thanks for the report. This should not be happening with GPG Suite Beta 4. But for this release it is suggested to go via our homepage and download the Suite instead of going via automatic updates.

   Let me know where you are at by now.
