    Hey Mike,

welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having problems using GPG Suite.

Could you please download and install our latest GPG Suite nightly build and see if the problem persists. That page also has sig and SHA1 to verify the download.

Please note that there is no official support for macOS pre-release versions. So if you rely on GPGMail for your productive work, please stick to the stable release channel of macOS.

    All the best,
    steve

    Hi Steve,

I downloaded and installed as you suggested and that did the trick. I’m able to start and use GPGMail without issue.

Thanks for pointing out MacOS beta, I do need to get back off the beta releases.

    Regards,

    Mike

If you are running them on your productive work system maybe so.

    Hi Steve,

Upon further use I don’t believe the messages I’m sending out as encrypted are being encrypted. I sent a test message to one of my other email accounts after I had deactivated my GPG Key and deleted all of the associated keys stored in Apples KeyChain and I am able to read the encrypted message.

This message I’m sending you is going out encrypted as well.

    Regards,

    Mike

wrong mail was used when key was created. use same email that is also used in mail.app > prefrences > accounts and things worked like a breeze.

    Hi Mike,

this issue has been fixed in our latest nightly GPG Suite. That page also has sig and SHA265 to verify the download.

It would be awesome if you could install that nightly build and let us know, if it solves the "Loading..." issue for you.

    Looking forward to your feedback,
    steve

    Hi Steve,

That fixed the “loading” issue. I did have to uninstall the older version first as doing an upgrade would make the email app hang while trying to display an encrypted email message which was already selected when starting mail app.

    Hi Steve,

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you in regards to this update. Had tagged your email but forgot to go back to it.

Anyway, I’ve done the update and all seems to be going good with it. I’ve seen no issues this weekend after sending out a couple of secured email messages to colleagues.
