welcome to the GPGTools support platform. Sorry you are having
problems using GPG Suite.

Could you please download and install our latest GPG Suite nightly
build and see if the problem persists. That page also has sig
and SHA1 to verify the download.

Please note that there is no official support for macOS
pre-release versions. So if you rely on GPGMail for your productive
work, please stick to the stable release channel of macOS.

All the best,
steve

Disclaimer: This is a development version which has not been
thoroughly tested yet - bugs or crashes are to be expected. Thanks
for helping us test.

Stevetag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/420294882017-02-25T17:15:41Z2017-02-25T17:15:42ZGPGMail: Apple Mail fails to load GPGmail in macOS pre-release beta

Hi Steve,

I downloaded and installed as you suggested and that did the
trick. I’m able to start and use GPGMail without issue.

Thanks for pointing out MacOS beta, I do need to get back off
the beta releases.

Regards,

so.

Glad this worked.

Enjoy your weekend,

Upon further use I don’t believe the messages I’m
sending out as encrypted are being encrypted. I sent a test message
to one of my other email accounts after I had deactivated my GPG
Key and deleted all of the associated keys stored in Apples
KeyChain and I am able to read the encrypted message.

This message I’m sending you is going out encrypted as
well.

Regards,

this issue has been fixed in our latest nightly GPG Suite. That page also has sig and SHA265 to verify the download.

It would be awesome if you could install that nightly build and let us know, if it solves the "Loading..." issue for you.

Looking forward to your feedback,

That fixed the “loading” issue. I did have to uninstall the older version first as doing an upgrade would make the email app hang while trying to display an encrypted email message which was already selected when starting mail app.

Another patch with fixes regarding #901 is included in todays nightly build: could you please download and install our latest GPG Suite nightly build and see if the problem persists.
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you in regards to this update. Had tagged your email but forgot to go back to it.

Anyway, I’ve done the update and all seems to be going good with it. I’ve seen no issues this weekend after sending out a couple of secured email messages to colleagues.

Mike Paxtontag:gpgtools.tenderapp.com,2011-11-04:Comment/420294882017-03-20T00:00:05Z2017-03-20T00:00:05ZGPGMail: Apple Mail fails to load GPGmail in macOS pre-release beta

Hi Mike,

It would be great if you have time on your hands, to provide feedback on this, since we are in the midst of preparing the next beta and we'd love to check with affected users, that the issue is indeed fixed.

Looking forward to your feedback.
