Hey,
Running into the same issue with exact same stack software versions shown above. Attached are a couple crash reports I could find. The don't seem to be related to the Loading... problem noted yesterday (9 Feb 17). No crash log found - but Mail locked up and had to Force Quit the application.

Hi,
Just to confirm, I see the exact same behaviour. Seems to happen more often with emails with "embedded html content", which is of course quite vague but you get the basic idea. Uinstalling GPG tools fixes my problems with loading forever hanging individual emails.

Hi Brian, William and Palle,
this issue has been fixed in our latest nightly GPG Suite. That page also has sig and SHA265 to verify the download.
It would be awesome if you could install that nightly build and let us know, if it solves the "Loading..." issue for you.
Looking forward to your feedback,
steve

I tried, still got the loading problem. It went away the moment I removed the GPG bundle.

Steve,
Loaded - I’ll have a client resend the document with attachment, on Monday. Let you know what happens.

Seems to have fixed it! Loading has stopped and I’m not seeing any bad side effects (like high CPU).
Decoding of old messages seems to work though a few of my outgoing ones are just showing two attached files (encrypted.asc and Mail Attachment) and aren’t decoding.

Brian, thanks a lot for your feedback. Please observe this further and let us know if anything suspicious happens.
Regarding the mails you are unable to decrypt, could you try this to decrypt them:
https://gpgtools.tenderapp.com/kb/gpgmail-faq/gpgmail-no-longer-wor...
Does that work?
All the best,
steve

Yes, the mails decrypt fine that way, they just don’t show up in the mail preview window.
Brian
I’m signing this for testing purposes.

Hi Brian,
we believe this issue has been fixed. If you want to test the fix, please download our latest nightly GPG Suite. That page also has sig and SHA1 to verify the download.
It would be great if you have time on your hands, to provide feedback on this, since we are in the midst of preparing the next beta and we'd love to check with affected users, that the issue is indeed fixed.
Looking forward to your feedback.
Kindly,
steve

Steve,
Loaded 1979n and had a go at the previously sent attachment…
And it looks good.
If you need further testing, please let me know.

I've been running with the two latest dailies posted here recently, and they both seem to work fine for me. Great work!

Steve,
Loaded 1815n this afternoon and mail seems a bit more stable, the attachments work as well. Spun for 20 - 25 seconds but decrypt and was able to read the “big attachment”.
