Drafts not being deleted when reply is sent and threaded messag view is active

In my GPGMail settings, I have "Encrypt drafts" turned off.

In my Gmail account settings, I have "Store draft messages on the server" turned off.

However, ever since I installed the beta, I'm seeing drafts get created on a message thread as I type, and they stick around even after I send the finished message.

Anyone else seeing this behavior?

Hi. It's been much better - don't think I've seen any undeleted drafts today.

Ian, can you provide the version info of installed components:

    1. open System Preferences
    2. open GPGPreferences
    3. select "Updates" tab
    4. click on any version number (that will copy all info to your clipboard)
    5. paste (⌘+V) e.g. into your support discussion

    Copy version info

    1. update to 10.11.3.

    2. Could you please download and install our latest nightly build and see if the problem persists. That page also has sig and SHA1 to verify the download.

    All the best, steve

Hi Steve. Having done this, and also with latest MacOS update, this now appears to be fixed. (Also, I am keeping Drafts on an Exchange server rather than my own Mac).

    Hey Ian,

that would be fantastic news. So we have that open ticket for old OS versions. The situation looks much better on 10.11 it seems.

Also make sure to keep us posted. The exchange server setup is always interesting to keep an eye on.

The bug where Mail.app created multiple drafts has been fixed by Apple in macOS 10.13. If you are still affected by this issue, consider updating to macOS 10.13 High Sierra.
