My computer has US English, Spanish, and French as permissible languages. MacOS Sierra. Sometimes the GPGMail alerts come up in English, and sometimes in French. I can, of course, understand them because I speak these languages, but why does it sometimes use English and sometimes French?

Expected
I expected it to stick with my currently-selected language (on the toolbar menu) which is English.

macOS 10.12.2 16C68
GPG Suite 2016.12b1 26b
GPGMail 2.7b1 1179b
GPG Keychain 1.3.3b1 1249b
GPGServices 1.11 916
MacGPG2 2.0.30 884
GPGPreferences 2.0.2b1 908b
Libmacgpg 0.7 775
pinentry 0.9.7 4

Attached screen capture. It's only the "pinentry" alert that does this when asking me for a passphrase for a key. I think actually it might only be certain keys, and I'll check on that.

I have verified that the pin entry window is in French for at least the two GPG keys I most commonly use. Never English.

On my second computer, MacOS Sierra, with GPGMail, I have not specified French as a second language and everything remains in English. So it could have to do with specifying multiple languages for the OS.

    Hi Sky,

this issue has been fixed. If you want to test the fix, please download our latest nightly GPG Suite. That page also has sig and SHA1 to verify the download.

Feedback on this would be appreciated.

The daily build fixed it for me. I'm now seeing pinentry in English, which is the currently-selected MacOS language. Thanks.

Right after installing the nightly build I did try several times to compose an outbound message and although the window was listed in the 'window' menu in Mail.app, it was not visible on the screen. I also hit the 'reply' button to answer a message and that window also was invisible. I restarted Mail.app and the windows became visible after the app launched. So that was scary. I'll continue to run with this build and report any other issues. It is 1748n.
